Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Submission

  • All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission portal available on the official SPJ Publication website.

  • Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Manuscript Structure

  • Title Page:

    • Title of the manuscript

    • Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)

    • Corresponding author’s contact information (email, phone number)

    • A short running title (maximum 50 characters)

  • Abstract:

    • Limit: 250 words

    • Include background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

    • Provide 3-5 keywords.

  • Main Text:

    • Introduction: Outline the background, significance, and objectives.

    • Methods: Detailed description of the methodology, study design, and statistical analysis.

    • Results: Present findings with appropriate use of tables, charts, and figures.

    • Discussion: Interpret findings in the context of existing literature.

    • Conclusion: Summarize the key outcomes and implications.

  • References:

    • Follow the Vancouver referencing style.

    • Number references sequentially as they appear in the text.

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1-inch on all sides

  • Alignment: Justified

  • Page Numbering: Bottom-right corner

4. Tables and Figures

  • Submit tables and figures as separate files in high resolution (300 dpi or higher).

  • Tables: Number consecutively and include a descriptive title.

  • Figures: Number consecutively with appropriate captions.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines for human and animal studies.

  • Include a statement of ethical approval for research involving human participants.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

6. Article Types

  • Original Research: Up to 5000 words

  • Review Articles: Up to 6000 words

  • Case Studies: Up to 2000 words

  • Short Communications: Up to 1500 words

7. Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review.
